First Signs Of Frost tackle estrangement with new single & music video for 'Loss'

Updated: Jun 23, 2022

London-based progressive post-hardcore band First Signs Of Frost have released a brand new music video for their latest single 'Loss'. The track, with lyrical content tackling the topic of estrangement, is taken from the band's upcoming album Anthropocene, due for release in September 2022.

On the new single, guitarist Owen Hughes-Holland comments: "The song tackles the topic of having an absent relative and the idea of that person reappearing unexpectedly after a long period of time. It deals with the conflicting feelings of that relative choosing only now to make amends after many years with no contact, and the rollercoaster of emotions that go along with that process. It was inspired by someone very close to me who was in that situation."
